How does payment work?

Order confirmations and invoices are sent through a program called "Shopify," which is a completely secure and privacy-compliant program.  Please note that your purchase of custom boots is non-refundable.  Order issues are handled on a case-by-case basis.  You may choose to be charged 50% of the listing price plus taxes upon ordering your boots.  When your boots are ready to ship, you will be charged the remaining balance plus taxes and shipping.  Once the balance is paid in full, your boots will be shipped to you in a timely fashion.  Payment in full is required for the purchase of fashion footwear, riding accessories, the Aspen, and any discounted items.

When will I receive my boots, and how will I receive updates?

Generally, the production of the boots takes about 4-6 weeks and 2 weeks to ship once finished (unless the package gets stuck in customs).  We do our best to have those boots released as soon as possible.  The boots are made and shipped from Portugal, and I do not receive a tracking number until the boots reach the states and arrive at the wholesaler.  Once the boots reach the states, the boots will be sent directly to you, and you will be sent a tracking number through Shopify. Please note, I do not see the boots before they are sent to you!

When your boots are finished and ready to ship, you will receive an email notification and invoice for the remaining balance.  Once the balance is paid in full, your boots will be shipped to you in a timely fashion.  If you would like an update on the production of your boots, please send me an email.

What is a break-in period?

Ah, the dreaded break-in period!  Although Kingsley boots are known for comfort, you will not escape the need to break-in these bad boys.  We’re good, but we’re not that good!  Please understand that it may be uncomfortable to wear your boots initially.  They might be tight, tall, and uncomfortable around your foot.  The great thing about leather, however, is that it will stretch, give, and mold to your leg and foot!  There are so many great tips and tricks online - Google is a beautiful thing!
